As a beginner I started off with balloon belly mollies in a ten gallon tank. Out of all the babies born I kept only one because she was so beautiful. Being inexperienced I thought she was a boy and named her Vince. Later on I learned she was a female and renamed her Vinceana . When I got my 55 gallon tank I moved her into it and got her a boyfriend. They had several batches of babies together, then suddenly one day she was dead. I didn't realize until then how attached I had gotten to her. We miss her very much.
my first ever fish was named mustache and it had a batch of fry and one lived. i named him buba (my brothers idea) they both lived and in about 2 months i woke up and they were both dead. i know how you feel
