Vinegar for VersaTop?

I got it used, so there's lots of calcium deposits and crud on it.
I'm assuming you just soak a cloth in regular old white vinegar and wipe the glass off with it to get this crap off of it, right?

Any need to rinse the glass with water afterwards, or is the vinegar completely non-toxic to fish?

Razor Blade does really well...
I had white stuff caked all over the glass of my plastic 10 gallon hood... I just put it in the sink, splashed a little more water over the glass, and scraped it off. The tank became much brighter.
