Vitamins

Has anyone ever tried putting childrens vitamin drops in their tanks? Would it help with adding things like calcium (for the snail shells), iron, potassium, magnesium, etc. for the plants without lowering pH?

I would think that the concentrations would be wrong for a fish tank, but I don't know.

vitachem, lots of vitamins quite costly for a big bottle. Or blanch some spinach and stick it into the tank, packed with everything you can think of

I use vita-chem. It's for fish and directions are on the bottle.

Okay, I took the 12 year olds advice and I threw a small bit of Winnie the Pooh Childrens chewable multivitamin into the tank at work. Nobody's killed over yet or has tried to escape, more than usual that is.

I'll let ya'll know if it all goes wrong or if it seems to help anything.
