I saw a 10 gal tank at walmart. It include all the things like the top, the heater, a filter and more. I was wondering would this be a good buy or should i go to pet cetera to get a tank?

What are you planning on putting in the tank? 10 gallons kind of limit your possiblities. Though you can still work with them.

They have the same setup at petsmart for I think about the same cost(plus it has better equipment IMO) I dont know what pet cetera has so I cant comment on that.

The tanks alone are nice but the equipment would probably get the job done but not the greatest.

I just boycott Sprawl-Mart and all they stand for, so you know what my advice will be.

Other than that, keep in mind that buying a package deal will give you no choice in the matter of what products you get. For instance, they might be including a decent filter, but a totally bunk brand of heater. If it includes substrate, will it be the kind you really want if given the choice? I could go on.

Ten gallon tanks are like 8-12 bucks. Then you get to pick out all of your own equipment. That way you can be sure everything is the best choice for your needs, as well as being good quality. It might cost you a few dollars more, but trust me you'll end up spending even more than that in the long run if you can't stand that noisy filter, or your heater is a piece of crap, or the lights fry.....
