walmart light?

i bought a under cabinet protable light that says it has 75 watts of output power. 24 inches long would this work for the lighting i need for a coral fishtank. im planning on buying another one.

Chances are it's in the low Kelvin range, probably around 5000K. That's my guess.

hey flowerkid is the striplight for plants? I've seen those at walmart so I was just wondering.

ps the wattage is not putout it is the power used

looks like it's 75 watts but if it's a normal flourescent than the spectrum probably will not be right. I'm not too great about this so if someone else could weigh in.

The light is only rated at a temp of 4200K. I think you should look more at the 10000K-20000K end of the spectrum when lighting a reef.
