OK, so I'm getting into planteds more than I expected. I'll be planting the bettas and galaxy rasboras now and soon upgrading my cherry shrimp and livebarers to a larger tank that has to be densely planted, so I need quite a few plants.

Here are some that I am interested in, but anything that will work with 2WPG (+/-) is a possibility.

Marimo Balls
Java Fern
Dwarf Sag. / Subulata
Broad Leaf Subulata
Anubias Coffefolia
Myrio Filigree
Anacharis
Amazon Compacta Sword
Narrow Leaf Chain Sword
Micro Sword
Water Sprite

If your trimming up at tank soon, let me know what you have. :)

Why do they always post a need after a good tank trimming occures...

Virgo i have westeria
asian amublia (sp?)
Sunset Hygro

I usually do trimming every two to three weeks as tank is growing fast. If you want any of my plants let me know i can box them up and ship them off, but need to let hygro spread out as i really trimmed that out this week.

What kind of Rotala is it bigfoot? The sprig I got from you last time is doing well, but I haven't tried to ID it yet. The Hemianthus you gave me seems to be doing pretty well, so I don't think I'll need any more of that (I've got about a 10gal full carpet all together). What type of Bacopa?

Yeah, the one piece is doing well just floating in my 18gal, it's pretty pink there, I guess from being so close to the lights. I was just wondering what type it was so I could look it up. I'm pretty new to the whole plant thing, just wanted to make sure it would be OK in low light.

Do you think it would be OK in low light (nothing under 1.5wpg, but just wondering)? Want to PM me with some prices? I also have pest snails and cherry shrimp for trade if you're interested.

Yeah it will definitely do well in low light. It won't get as pink or grow as fast but providing its other needs(nutrients/CO2) are met it should grow well. I used to grow it in a 10gal with 1.5wpg. Cherry shrimp would be awesome though i don;t think they will make the trip due to the cold. Tell ya what though i will sell ya some for $2 + shipping. Looking at my grow out tank i also have some a few sprigs of wisteria(hygrophilia difformis) that i can send you along with some java moss and dwarf hair grass.

I've been shipping the cherries with success lately, NJmom just got some and Bigvine has some comming, I ship insulated box w/ heat pack. If you want them, it is possible. I'm low on funds, so a trade would be ideal for me. I have way too many shrimp! LOL

I don't think the hairgrass has a chance in my tanks, but the wisteria most likely will do well. I have plenty of Java moss, but if you're just trying to rid yourself of it, I can always use more. :D

they seem to do a pretty good job at keeping my tank algae free, I would assume it depends on the type of algae as well. They breed like guppies though, so I'll toss in a holding female or two and you should be set for a while. How many were you thinking? I can ship them any time. Just have to get the tags and boxes ready. :)
