Wanted: Zebra Plecos (L46)

Was wondering if anybody has seen them around for less than $100 LOL anyone know where i can get some for any price at all?! Yes i know they are $$ and come in seasons. *crazysmil

I'm not REAL serious about getting them yet, but would like to sometime in the near future.

i found a breeder in san deigo once,but i lost the web address.a breeder is your best bet.when i found the breeder metioned above,the prices were only 15 dollars a fish,minumum order of 8.so it came out to about 160 with shipping.of course at the time i couldn't afford it.i can get zebras regularly but only at $120 a fish.too steep for me

i saw a false zebra pleco, which had its stripes going the wrong way, he was £60, but apparently the false ones aggressive and may eat smaller fish....... apparently

i saw 2 at an lfs called fishland last week, at 80 bucks a pop. the guy said he actually bought them for his show tank(which is what they were in) but he said if someone could actually come up with the money hed sell them. at 80 bucks a pop he can have em, but they are a very attractive fish

If i ever saw them around here, even for $80. I'd seriously think about buying them. They are hard to come by now, especially now that the locals down there are digging for gold in the Zebra's habitat.

I saw quite a few on Aquabid in October/November, most of them pretty cheap, as I remember (like less than $50).

yeah, a few aictions going on now. One seller doesn't have a good record so.....havn't considered him. The other i am talking with through e-mail and looking at their other pleco stock list.

Still want Zebras!!!!!

I can get some if you want them that bad I would estimate about $30-50 a piece for a 3-4" specimen. Heck, I might get one too! They are very nice plecos

The problem is trying to get them to you...
