Water at the bottom of the filter.

Hi All,

I'm doing up a tank I was given. Its a Jewel 120ltr. I have it totally stripped down. However, there is about 2 inches of water left in the bottom of the filter. I lifted the tank a bit and some did flow out, it looked pretty clear. I still want rid of it though. Anyone know the best way of doing this with out lifting the tank?

you can siphon the water out...there are different sized siphons in local pet stores or you can even use a dropper (like the medicine dropper, yes) to suck the water out :]

I tried the siphon but the water was not deep enough. I ended up getting 90% by soaking J-cloths in it.
