100G total water volume,
Every other month,
10-15 G change,
I would do a change if there was any sign of NO3, but with my fuge there is never any to worry about :)

In a good running system water changes aren't needed as much but the downside is having to moniter the levels of calcium, iodine, trace elements blah blah. I dose the needed elements with the water evap topoff...

In a well designed system nitrates will not be an issue, though that is no reason not to w/c's
