I have a 55 gallon set up wtih 8 JD juvies. When I bought them they were about a half inch each and now four months later they might be inch each. i have been doing 20-30% water changes about every week and half and I have been feeding 3-4 times daily. From what Ive read JD's are usually quick growers, up to 8 inches in the first year. I was hoping to have my breeding pair in 6 months, but at the rate mine are growing it will be well over a year. Am I doing something wrong? Did I get fish with bad genetics? Any tips?
