water changes on cycling tank??

I LR-cycled my little nano without water changes. Only started doing it a week or so after the introduction of crabs and snails, and this was mainly to control a hair algae burst.

I dig your tank setup webpage, dial. nice pics and it's interesting and informative to follow your timetable.

Depends on how high your ammonia goes and how much life you're prepared to lose. If you let your ammonia go to 5 don't expect much except bacteria to survive.
