water changes??

How often SHOULD you do water changes. Is once every 2 weeks enough?? Is it better for your fish to change less water more frequently or more water less often.

25% water weekly is a good rule.

this is for larger tanks though. for a small tank (ie. Betta 2.5 gal tank or a dwarf puffer 5 gal tank) you need to change 50% water weekly.

no that's a smallish-medium tank so don't worry. 30% water changes are great.

I saying if you do 100% water changes on your tank weekly-sort of thing. in order to do that you need to move the fish out each time and it can get very stressful for them. lol
that would be CRAZY especially with a larger tank lol.
