i have a spider along with 5 snails that came with my horwort in my tank.
i cant get info on them. like will it go after my fish ? should i just get it out now before it has a hundred babies ? or can i just let it be ? any input would be great.
thanks
I would think the fish would eat the water spider depending on size and type of your fish. With the snails though I read they tend to take over so you might just want to take them out.
That spider will catch and eat your fish if its big enough. then again if its small enough, the fish will eat it lol. Remove it if you see it next time.
i got him out and put it in fry tank ( which is just snails for right now. )
it really is a beautiful thing.
it must have molted or something because it shed its back part and was white, after a day it is already colored again. im gonna try and get a picture.
like i said before i never even heard of water spiders.
I actually have a whitish one crawling around my cristmas moss bunch. its really small, and im guessing the goldfish will eat it before i introduce swordtails lol. Is yours black and white, or just white like mine? This topic is so random lol.
