Hi.
Recently I have been noticing what appears to be clouds in my betta's bowl. I change the water at least twice a week and at first I attributed this to dust in the water. But another betta in the same room does not have this in his tank. The only way I can describe it is a clear whitish cloud in the water in small bits. It's almost as if it were a gas and just hanging around in the water. Is this a sign of disease or something I can fix? The betta is healthy and active.

It might be a bacteria bloom, it happens fairly often. Do a full water change, use the old tank water to rinse out the gravel/substrate and see if that helps.

Most 'blooms' will clear up in time.
