Waterproof mats, a good buy!

For those of you with nice carpets or wood floors, who sometimes are a little messy while doing tank maintenance, these mats are awesome --> Aquarium Maintenance & Cleaning: Drymate Aquarium Cleaning Mat

They're called Drymate Aquarium Cleaning Mats. They keep the floor dry, even if you have a spill. They're machine washable, too.

Could be a good idea if you've had problems with your spouse/parents with making a mess of the floor.

i am going to re carpet my entire house in that stuff...lol j/k

I got something similar to these from a place called trader joes... super absorbent material saves me trouble... today i had a spill i rubbed this cloth into spill and it dried the carpet completely.... mine hold 10x their weight or something like that it can hold a lot of water that is for sure.
