one of our lampeyes seems really weak -- floating around a lot -- before then swimming some on its own power. looks weak and sick. should we remove it from the community tank and put it on it's own in the small quarantine tank? i know they are a schooling fish but not sure what to do...
Yeah, if you think it is SICK I would get it out of that tank asap and quarentee it in another until you can figure out whats going on...dont want the other fish potentially getting sick as well!
Have you tested your water? Your tank is overstocked and it may be that this little guy is showing the stress before the rest of them do. I would test my water first and perform a water change accordingly.
