Weird tiger barb behavior

The other night two of my six tiger barbs were spinning arond in circles chasing each other's tails. It was the strangest thing. They are doing it all over the tank and stopped after 10 minutes. I tried to break them up but they went right back at it. So why were they doing this? I have noticed one of them has gotten a really wide belly as of late and noticed it yesterday morning. Was this some type of mating dance? They have never shown aggression towards each other or the Danios that are in there with them.

I have 5 Tiger Barbs, and they do the same thing. These little sweeties are fairly aggressive, and that is aggression you are seeing, not courtship! lol

It's cool to watch tho.

Got to love the Little crack heads, I have one thats always chasing the others and every once in a while they stop and do the circle dance, I remember the first time I seen them hang upside down I thought something was wrong. but now I know that they are just a little on the crazy side. Most be something in the water...LOL
