Well Water

I live in the country and have well water. It's run through a softener system. I use a siphon to do water changes. I haven't really thought much about it, but since there is no chlorine added to my water, do I need to use anything to treat it?

I think you should be fine. My dad is on well water and never adds anything to his water changes and has had no problems for years

I have well water, but still treat it. I only treat my water because it's hard, not 'cause of chlorine.

what are you treating it with? most fist tank water condionters won't do anything for hardness as far as i know.
