Went into my local store yesterday and wow...

Called in yesterday after work with my we boy and wow. What a stocking them have of cichlids and loaches and all sorts. Love that place. That had some adult rams goin for £8 each and then a tank full of juvie 1s bout an inch long going for 12 each. Some beautiful gold rams aswell. Pygmy puffers, cudnt beleive how small they are. Clown and kuhli loaches, ghost shrimp etc. So wanted to grab some cichlids n kuhlis lol need 2 sort my stock 1st. Took some pics of a pleco, bout 12inchds if not more, and this enormous fish that was bigger than my sons head. He ran from the tank wen it swam at him. U can c it in 1 of the pics. Will throw them up later. Defo need 2 reduce my stock so I can add. Would love some cockatoo cichlids. Beautiful they are.

Bala sharks, any1 keep those? Had stacks of them in a big tank.

With your 30g tank there's lots of amazing fish that you can keep, but lots that you can't, unfortunately. I only have a 39g myself, and it is traumatising whenever I go to the fish store - gosh, there are so many that I would like, but just don't have the tank space for them!

I love going in. I spend at least an hour in there with the kids just letting them look around at all the fish.

Would kribs, gold rams and cockatoos all go 2gether anyone?

Good examples there of just how big your clown loaches and pleco will get!

I can imagine the rams and cockatoos getting on, but not the kribs. They tend to be a fair bit more aggressive than south american dwarf cichlids.

Juvie rams for £12?! Seriously?!

Wow prices have gone up since I last bought... and that was only a couple of years ago!

Yea 12 a peice. Y wud the juvies b more expensive? Bcause they r young and last longer mayb? Beautiful lookin we fish bout 1.5 - 2cm long. Gold rams aswell. Lovely

That's ridiculous.. you used to be able to buy rams for way more than half that. Looks like I'll be making an expensive return if I get this tank on ebay.. prices of everything seem to have shot up.

Prices are mad at the minute.blue gouramis for 1.50 each and they are rite and back. 6month old oscars 4 a tenner. 4quid a male betta.
