not necessarily.....are they coming from an encrusting mat as I have some green star polyps that go in at night and look just like that when they are coming out......better pictures would help
ya but feather dusters dont go back into the rock at night...these pull back and disappear from exsistance!
i just figured they were some sort of polyp or something. im hoping thier not bad, but they havnt spread and havnt stung my gramma yet
i really wanna say that they're hydroids. i'm no pro in hitchhikers tho. i've read that they will sting things like coral, fish, or you and can only be removed manually, scrubbing the rock with a toothbrush was recommended i think.
there defintly hydroids best way i can explain is there kinda like aptasia ..... ive got some in my 10 gallon and in my 55 but ive never had problems with them yet .... im sure you can juice um if they get outa hand
