This may seem a silly question...I do have 3 cories..one peppered and two bronze...I just know they are "bottom feeders" so the thought of "feeding" them didnt really enter my mind so what DO they eat?

They make little bottom feeder discs, too... I think they're more or less compounded flakes designed to sink. They like pretty much whatever hits the bottom of the tank-flakes, pellets, frozen, discs, etc. I've found they prefer the meaty foods to the algae wafers.

Corys eat mainly catfish pellets, bloodworms, flake food and algae pellets. they will not eat anything living though, if you were to feed them live blood worms im sure they wouldnt touch it, only dead stuff
No, no, no - cories love LIVE bloodworms. Mine are very excited to get one, they swim to the top trying snaching some ahead of all tetras and zebras, not that they ever suceed in that :) but they take wriggling worms from the gravel. They take their time though to stuff them in their mustached mouths. Pictus cat swallows whole worms so quickly, you never notice, and even makes summersaults in te air so that not to miss his prey (worm).
Worms rule!
