What do i do now ??

Hi,
just today my male krib had died, but i have a female and she has some eggs developing, will she still spawn and guard the eggs even if there is no male to fertilize them ?? because once i had a feamle ram and the day after i had just bought a male, they spawned, i think the female was developing eggs anyway without a male, but luckily i got a male eggs cant develop that fast can they ??

Yes, the female krib may well still spawn. She may well eat them straight away though to reprocess the protein.
As soon as a male and femal meet they can spawn. The eggs are not fertilised internally, they are fertilised when they spawn externally

oh, so can eggs develop inside the female in like 1 day then ? i thought it took them like 2 weeks for the eggs to develop ?
