what do snails eat?

I need to make my snails reproduce. So i need to know what they like to eat. Do they eat people food? If they do, i would like to know that instead.

what type of snails are we talking about? a-sexual? either way just let them go and do what they do lol my snails are out of control

but if u really would like something for them get a small slice of zucini and strap it to a small rock leave it in there for about 14 hours

Snails are scavengers, they will eat anything. If you're talking about apple/mystery snails then you have to have a male and a female together.

they eat everything you want them to: left over food, detritous, your neighbor's dog......etc.

if you are trying to breed them, get a handful or more adults and put them in a clear container with an aeration stone, and a few plants. feed them a slice of cucumber whenever you feel it's necessary ( i do about once or twice a week). i have over 1,000 in since i started it about 6 weeks ago. (i put 10 adults in there to start) i also put in a bunch of java moss since i heard they like that
