We tried tadpoles this year and killed them. We gave them algae wafers, but the little puddle we found them in was a better place to keep them.

Collected many earlier this year and was successful it getting them through the morph into young frogs. They do eat algae as well as micro organisims in the water. We only kept them a week before they changed, so Im sure all the water we brought with us contained enough food to sustain them. We still did put in an algae waffer once a day and removed any uneaten food.

We turned all the frogs loose evenutaly, expensive little buggers to keep fat and happy!

sometimes you can get them to nibble on cucumber, like plecos. as ash pointed out, they have a good taste for human flesh as well.

i had tadpole so im experence with it =) give it water plant a goo size so they can eat they dont like green water very well for some reson.
