Some kind of chiclid maybe? IF I were you I would go to the LFS and find a fish that looks like it, then ask someone who works there what kind of fish it is =)

id try to get another pic on the side there but i do also think its some kind of chilid or something looks like a oscar maybe? very hard to tell

It almost looks like a native fish. How warm is the water? I really can't tell from here but I guess it could be a cichlid. It sort of looks like one...sort of.

It turns out it is a piranah (or was) the guuy that sold me the tank ate it
