Ok I have a 90 gallon salt tank with 3 damsels, 1 huma huma trigger, and 1 undelated trigger and my ph is at 8.2 and I've heard this is a good level but want to get more opinions. Sometimes my huma huma glances off of stuff and I can't figure out why all levels are good but I just checked nitrate and it is between 0 and 5 ppm. Please let me know any info is appreciated.

8.2 is like perfect......as Wayne said, never go below 8.0 and never go above 8.4.....
As far as your trigger flicking off of objects in the tank, have you checked him for ich? Any other symptoms like rapid breathing?
