Going back and looking at the picture it almost looks like at least 2 males there....but hard to tell. Being the new kids on the block, they are probably going to keep a darker coloration....they don't want to get the attention of the dominant male of the tank.

How many days have they been in the big tank with the others?

i just put them in today. One of the dominant males was having fun chasing them around. They all seem to calm down and now its time to stake out territory. I moved everything around to give them a chance. If you have any other sugestions let me know. I will take another picture in a few days once they adjust.

for some reason the edit button wouldnt work, the picture brings out the yellow in them they all look darker in real life.

i believe i have one of them

its the one fish that i wasnt sure what it was,i bought it at petco months ago.IVE NOTICED THAT ITS FINS ARE TURNING YELLOW. do they completely change color with age?what can i expect.he or she doesnt seem to be aggressive hangs with my blue zebra

I am not positive but as they get older the males will color up. Some of it depends on their tank mates or lack there off. If you have a picture of them that would help also. If you google Pseudotropheus flavus you will get an idea as to what they look like. Although mine dont look excatly like them. who knows I am still guessing at this point.

2nd try to identify?

one is definitly a female it has been prego for 2 weeks and the other 2 I think are male but I am still not sure what they are and I have looked through 100 of pictures
