Hey,
the other day I put some plants in my ten gallon freshwater tank, and a few days after(today) I noticed hundreds of tiny tiny bugs zooming around on the surface of the water, they are red and very small and don't actually swim in the water, the are on the surface,
I will attach photos,
so any help on what these are and how to get rid of them would be amazingly helpful because this tank is in my room lol. If anyone knows of any natural predators that will eat them that would be cool, i put some zebra danios in the tank but they dont seem to be doing much.

Most of those surface bugs work on water tension on the surface. If you can continually break the water surface with a waterfall or bubbler, or, in a dire emergency, drop a very small amount of ivory soap unscented (WARNING: This may kill fish too. I don't know.) on the water surface and they may fall in and drown. I know it works with mosquitos and other water bugs.

Thanks for the help!
I took aakaakaak's advice and put a bubbler in it for a few days and I dont see them anymore, i guessing they were either ate or (like you said) drowned in the water, but yeah there was some of that "goop"(i guess you could call it) on the surface so the bubbler helped get rid of that and now they seem to be gone.
As far as the fish go, it doesn't seem to be affecting them at all they are doing fine, so I hope everything works out!
