I bought this cichlid a couple months ago from petco. It was labeled as a Jewel but I'm not sure if thats correct. These were the best pics I could get with my iPhone. Please someone help me identify this fish.
Sorry just realized that my original pics were messed up. I updated to better pics. I also think I figured it out. I believe they are Jack Dempsey's Which is great that they were labeled as Jewels cus now what I thought would be 5" fish will instead be 10" fish
I bought this cichlid a couple months ago from petco. guess your stuck like chuck...imho if those are jd's the breeder should be shot... there are a lot of things missing from this fish that are indicative of the jd but i know better than to argue with SK
