what kind of cory?

I bought this guy at my LFS

What kind of cory cat is it?
I've read that it could be a striped corycat (false bandit) or maybe an arched corycat.

Looks like a common Bronze Cory Cat to me.

That's what I thought too. But it has a stripe across its body. Is this because its young?

The stripes you see may just be it's scales

Looks kinda like my green cories, except instead of a whole line down the body, mine just have a spot (which has about the same height as your line).

Plus, everyone here could be right by saying bronze or green... all are corydoras aeneus.

Mine don't have as big a shiny greenish patch as this photo, but they definitely have a little spot on each cheek. Does yours?

I have two of those and they are bronz corys. They will at times look a little green in the middle but I think its just their organs showing through their rib cage. My little one is more green than the larger one.

i agree thats it a bronze cory but if you totaly disagree it good be a baby cordora gossei

Yah, mine does have a tiny spot on its cheek. The reason why I didn't think it was a bronze corycat was because of the black stripe. In the pictures that I've seen them as being full colored. But I guess I'm wrong.

Should I get one more bronze cory in my tank? Or would it be overcrowded?
