lol another snail ID question ;)
anyways they grow about 1-2cm usually somewhere in between, they don't eat plants, have a nice gold speckling on a brown shell. Breeds a bit, not too crazy, but does breed a bit much. Here's the pictures. Thanks for the help everyone!

it's a regular pond snail. will breed a LOT if you overfeed the tank so beware. I personally hate these things. they can and do eat live plants. maybe you are lucky with the types you keep :)

oscars solve most overpopulation problems in most of the smaller tanks, as in the cases of livebearers and snails =/
You can simply catch any extra snails and fish and add them to the oscar tank :0

you can try using blanched zucchini and leave that in the tank for a night, then before the sun rises, while it's still dark, remove the vegetable covered in snails ;)

LOL it would be a bit of overkill just to get an oscar to rid me of the snails. Anyways I'll try the zuchinni sometime. LOL even though it'll mean getting up EARLYYY
or just remove snails. That would be the easy, but slightly less effective way

I've never had problems with any snails eating any live plants, only decaying plants. That's why I love them all, even ponds! Although, I'll admit, I used to hate them. I'm actually a bit sad that I only have a couple of pond snails in my 29g, and none in my 100g, my rams liked picking at them since they were so small.
