What med. to use

my golden gourami has a big white fuzzy spot on one side. the outside edge of the fuz is red. hes acting normal. (movement and eating) which medicine should i get to treat this?

I know it is some kinda fungal infection but does anyone recomend a med for it?

Ok it's good you know it's fungal, just browse at the LFS specific fungal meds as opposed to general if you know "exactly" what it is, research on the internet what ingredients combat fungus then make sure it's on the bottle of med when you buy it.

another member just had aproblem like this with white fuzz and she used melafix and it seems to have worked. apparently it gets rid of the bacteria that cause the environment for the fungus
