What not to add to gourami tank?

What fish should i not stock eith my gourami's in my ten gallon tank??

Im not too sure, but did you research the size of the Gouramis? They get pretty large themselves to be in a 10 gallon tank let alone add any other fish to it as well.

The ones that he has listed I'm pretty sure are Dwarf Gouramis. No other Gourami really goes by the name 'Frost Blue' or 'Flame Red'.

They only get to be about 2 inches give or take.

As for what fish NOT to stock it with:
Barbs, they nip
Betta, Anabatoids have this thing against each other...
Pleco, the get too large and you woundnt want to cramp him.

Tetras and Danios are fine.. but the best way to find this out is to just do a wee bit of research. When a fish catches your eye, take down it's scientific name and Google the Hell out of it.

Also, are your two Gouramis males? If they are.. how are they getting along?

im not sure how to tell there sex, but the larger flame gourami does chase the smaller blue gourami around...

i was told by my LFS goldfish are not a good tank mate for gourami's

Most stores sell don't girl dwarfs. Its usually just male dwarf gouramis. I wouldn't add gouramis... or bettas.

so 4 small neons (less than a inch varety) and some zebra danios ? anytoher suggestions?

my LFS has little gouramis that are around an inch i think they called them honey gouramis.. do they stay that small?

Honey gouramis get to 2.8" to 3.0"

Honey gouramis get about 1.5". Dwarf gouramis get 2". What NOT to add:

More Gouramis
Barbs
Bettas
Any thing that gets too big

endler livebearers add some of them well try one to make sure it doens't get torn apart. small tetras.

You could add some cories and ottos to your tank, or a small school of tetras or danios.

What about getting a small loach or two? There's tons that are from the same area as Dwarfs and there's a variety of smallish ones that would work too.
