what side of tank should plants go??

i am rescaping my 5G tank since one of my platys is pregnant, so that the fry will have a chance of survival. i was wondering if i should put most of the plants(all fake) on the side that the water comes out from the filter or the other side where the water doesn't get agitated? thank you

In that small of a tank and with good water quality I think it really would not matter and the plants can go anywhere you want or see fit.
