I went to walmart in baton rouge and their tanks is the size of a 52inch tv ( I went to walmart for that sole reason) . How many gallons is that.

Measure the tank in inches if its a rectangle. Multiply the length in inches by the width in inches by the height in inches. Divide this by 231. That is the number of gallons of water it will hold.

The largest tank I know that walmart sells in stores is a 55 gallon, that is up here in PA, not sure of any larger elsewhere.

televisions measure from bottom corner to top corner. so dont use that as a guess.

a 55 gallon standard is 48" long...

a 52" TV is around that size depending on how it is packaged.

If you were thinking of using a TV stand for your aquarium DON'T. They are rated for around 100 lbs. A 55gallon tank weighs around 500 lbs when it's full. Although the basic size would work, the stand will not support the tank long term.
