What The Poo Is This Stuff

I am trying to figure out what this stuff is. Can anyone help me???

Thing one some kind of algae, it looks to me like chaeto but probably not...most likely hair algae.

Thing two is a Majano Anemone usually considered a pest.

Getting a fish to eat the algae rarely reduces the algae problems as 1. by introducing new fish you raise the bioload, fuel for algae, 2. you'll likely replace one algae with abother.

I can't really see what that algae is, but if it becomes a new nuisance it doesn't look too hard to pull out.

Are Majano Anemone related to Aiptasia? What I thought were Aiptasia (living quite harmless in my tank (as far as I'm aware)) look identical to Thing 2.

since were on the topic, yesterday I finally decided to get some live rock from the LFS, the owner got us some LR that one of his employees brought from their home. So there was a lot of growth on it. I got about 5 pounds.

So to the point, what is this thing on the bottom right, it's still alive cause it opens and closes. A type of clam?

i used to have thing 2 and i was told it was a corn anenome and as far as i saw it was harmless... and my sexy shrimp loved it
