Well I've got a 2.5 gallon my friend just gave me. I don't exactly konw what to do with it. I was wondering if any of you guys had any ideas of what to do with it. It doesn't have to be fish related. If anyone has ideas using 2 2.5's he has another one I could get if I wanted to.

I think I'll go with ADFs because they are something different from fish and don't really require a filter or heater as long as your house stays at a decent temperature and you are diligent with water changes.

My best possible answer to your ? would be ---- a refugium. or you could have a collany of rotifers -- but with a refugium your would spend less money on food and you could put a u tube off of your refugium and a little power head pushing water back into your main tank to keep it cycled.

IT WOULD BE PERFECT.

No prob. I just put in some gravel and water today. I added a little of one of my more established tanks water to hopefully provide some bacteria to live in the gravel. I added stress zyme too. I had to build a DIY hood for it using a peice of leftover plexiglass (used it on my 5 gallon DIY hood, go figure) and I drilled holes into it. It was a lot easier though cause this one had a lip on it still (the little black thing that holds the hood in place), my 5 gallon had no lip so I had to create my own. This weekend I will be getting some fish to put in my 10 gallon so I will get my 2 froggies and some decorations to put in the 2.5 too. Thanks for the help!
