what to do with fish

i have a 90 gallon freshwater tank, with a bunch of different little fish in it. i want to convert it to a salt water tank, but i couldn't figure out what to do with the old fish. i was at a fish store, and they had a LARGE red oscar for cheap, so i bought it thinking it would gobble up all the other fish, solving my problem, and providing some entertainment in the mean time. so far, i dont think he's managed to catch any of the other fish! he chases them around, but doesn't seem to have the finishing move to catch them. any ideas on how i can help him out?

Did you talk to your local fish store about tradin' 'em in?  That would be nice.  Get some credit toward your SW stuff .  What were you planning to do with the oscar after he /she is done exterminatin' you tank?

what kind of fish would you keep that you would just feed to an oscar?sorry that seems weird to me.

If the fish are healthy and somewhat cool looking, you could sell them in the clasified section of the newspaper, or maybe you could give them to friends for thier birthdays or the for the Fourth of July. *twirlysmiley*

Your best bet would to take them to the LFS for credit, as mentioned.
