What to do?

Currently, we have a male betta and an ADF in a 2.5 gallon tank. I noticed a few days ago, the betta is punking the froggy! I'm going to separate them today, I think I'll leave the betta by himself in his own tank, but what about my ADF? Any suggestions on who would be a good tankmate for him? I'm most likely going to purchase another 2.5 mini-bow starter, which will come with a filter. Thanks in advance for your imput!

Well I would go maybe with a female betta because they are less agressive but if not that then, a Dwarf Platy of some sort.

or maybe another betta that is more mellow. you could probably get another adf as a friend too.

shrimp would be cool too. i would start with ghost shrimp since they are so cheap. then you can see if you betta will eat them. i had 2 with mine, and the ended up snacks.

OK, on my way to lfs. I think I will leave Nemo (betta) alone, and get a guppy friend for Gary (ADF). One guppy should be alright in a filtered 2.5 gallon, no heater...right???

guppies like a heater... if your house stays pretty warm like 76 it should be fine.
