This morning my sister's African Dwarf Frog died after she had it for two years. When that happened my dad said "no more critters." My idea of getting a bigger fish tank might have just flew out the window unless fish don't count as "critters." So now I figure I should make my ten gallon as interesting as possible. Anyone have any ideas of what I could do? I have a dwarf puffer which is very cool but hard to see and find. I'm looking for something eye catching. It could be fish or shrimp or anything. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas.:D

How about a ten gallon full of ADFs? That wouldn't make for an interesting tank, but it would annoy your dad. Annoying your dad would definitely lead to an interesting time.....

Seriously though. What do you find interesting? I think a ten gallon shell dweller tank would be interesting. But you might not. A heavily planted tank my do the trick.

Good luck with whatever you do.

Thanks for the input Flex26. Before anyone replyed yesterday my mom saw I was looking at fish on the net and asked if I wanted to go to PetsMart. So I did and bought 4 bloodfin tetras. A shell dweller tank would be really cool but I don't really know how to take care of them. A heavily planted tank would work with my school of bloodfins. I guess I'll go for that. Thanks Flex26!

BTW At PetsMart my mom didn't seem to care if I got a bigger tank or not. She was helping me find one!

PetsMart Carries Large Snails That If You Got A Few Green Spotted Puffers Might Become Very Empty After A Good Feast From These Critters Or Letting Your Dwarf Puffer Munch On A Small Snail From Your Garden Would Make A Empty Shell As Puffers Tend To Clean Snails Out Of Their Shells Quickly And As My Name Suggests I Should Now I Care For More Than My Fair Share Of Puffer Breeds,It's Hard Work Keeping Puffers Though I Should Know!

any snail shell with a good 1" opening. Make sure the opening is round. I'm ordering mine online from Russ Utlers, he sells neuthauma shells (the actual shells that tang shellies live in) 12 for $20.

Apple snail shells work too, or you can find buckets full of sea snail shells online for dirt cheap.
