what to feed coral / LR or what does it eat??

definitely no need to feed LR. some soft corals will benefit from occasional feeding but most get all the nutrients they need from the zoanthelae which in turn get their nutrients from the "sun"

my huge giants mush are on a good shiny spot...last week one has a big ugly spot on his body..my params looked ok. I target-fed him, now he's better.
He receives as much light as my bubble, wich needs a good amount. So if light is ok and he's better with food...i guess this type of mush needs to be fed sometime

im asking cause im cycling my tank with LR (and on the rock are some small soft corals) the rocks been in there for a week and dosent look dead. i just dont want them to die itl be about another 3 or 4 weeks before i purposly put soft corals and fish in.

everything looking fine now thoe. im getting some brown algue growing (from reading the forums this happens usualy towards the end of the cycle)
