what type of background do u use?

i'm looking for a good background to go along with a 30 gallon sw tank i'm about to invest in....
i know a solid black background goes good with a planted fw tank....i've seen blue backgrounded sw tanks that look pretty good....or i could always get a background with coral printed on it (i prefer a solid color though.....) what should i get?

Blue. If you get corals you may as well go the whole way and get mermaids and divers....

bluish black painted cardboard looks awesome and was a whole lot cheaper!

i chose black, even though i dont have a background at the moment. it really brings out the colors in fish.

if it were freashwater i would of said black, but for some reason i think blue would be more suited to saltwater

i use black, painted on the glass.

i wouldnt use any light colors, but they sometimes come out nice. i wouldnt use any pictures either.

its not the greatest pic but you can kinda see the hint of blue!

cool....when i saw your pics before i think i assumed it was from the actinic lighting....interesting effect...i would look into that if my back glass wasnt mostly covered with coraline anyway.......

give me time my friend!! my back to my previous 45 sw was totally covered.. i like the background mostly cause you can see the fish better and it hides the cords to the equipment.. if ya got a pic post it!
