I don't have any but i would like to get discus hen i have the equipment and knowledge to care for them.
Discus just look cool and i like peaceful fish.

frontosias all the way!!! IMO they are the most beutiful cichlid. i would get them if i had another tank.

a tanganikan sandsifter would do. they are neat.

omg! thanks st. anger, i forgot oscars i can beleive it ! they are the coolest and have unique "dog-like" personalities. they have awesome coloration.

Aulonocara "Peacocks" from Lake Malawi IMO are THE most beautiful cichlid in my opinion

altolamprologus calvus IMHO are THE coolest fish in my humble opinion

If I had the time and money to set up a huge Tanganikan tank, I would choose the tropheus species. If I had the time and money to set up an average size tanganikan tank, i'd go w/ the alto. calvus. In my experience, tho, you can't go wrong with a good ol' oscar (or maybe a veiltail oscar). very intelligent, you can tell they recognize you, have their own personalities, and although somewhat aggressive, not really bullies.

I love my Blue Ram, great colouration, very peaceful yet when i walk by it always rushes to the glass to watch me...kinda funny how he does that and his colours brighten up, kinda like sayin hey! look at me..ok now feed me!

Those discus would be great too, ver beautiful looking fish, C-Man you are so lucky to have em. Great looking fish!

S. Americans - love the fin structure and the speckled colouring. Still a cat-fish freak, but again - the Amazon's a big place.....

Still love my Africans, but once you've seen a Geophagus the size of a dinner plate - dwarfed by a Sailfin Pl*co...........

rams and keyholes are cool, discus for theyre colors for the larger cichlids i like green terrors, and severums
