whats every ones oppinoin on the fluval 303's? i am asking cuz i can get one for the price of shipping and it needs some work. but i wanted some type of info. i have never used a set up like this. im a HOB filter guy and would like to try one but if i have some info before i get it, it would be nice. any advice good bad. have problems with them?

Like what kind of work? It may be rather intensive or beyond what you can do.

this is only a year old and it wont run. i dont know if it hums or even vibrates ill have to ask. thinking it might be the moter.

Depends how mechanical you are. Dead motor doesn't sound too good though.
