Hello all... I'm sorta new to the canister filter game and was wondering what media combinations people used. I'd love for everyone to share their setup with me. Many thanks!

Here's my setup:

55g (FW-nonplanted) w/ Fluval 305
-4 sponge filters (foam screen inserts)
-carbon (botton basket)
-amonia reducer/zeolite granules (mid basket)
-BioMax ceramic rings (upper basket)

4 Angelfish
6 Boesmani Rainbowfish
2 Pearl Gouramis
1 Pictus catfish
1 Sun Catfish
1 Mystery Snail

I've got 2 Fluval 205 canisters, both with the same contents, one on my 37 and the other on the 29.
The standard foam sponges
Several layers of the white/blue filter material cut to size to fill the bottom basket.
The middle basket holds carbon if I am using any, otherwise it's empty
Top basket has BioMax rings.

I run 2 Fluval 405's in my 110. One has only poly filter fiber and Bio Max. The other has Prefilter, Phosphate remover and Bio Max.

I run a 305 in my 55 and it has Prefilter, fiber, and Bio Max. I run the phosphate pads in a HOB filter on that tank. Water here is high in Phosphates. Anyway, these setups seem to work well for me.
