whats up with my catfish?

Can someone tell me if my cory cat fish is dying? he's gone totaly off eating anything, he barely moves - other than to go up to the top for air.

He looks like he's constantly panting his little gills off. There is nothing wrong with my water and all the other cory's are fine.

He's been like that for a few days now. I added another air brick and pump but he still seems to be short of oxygen and still isnt eating.he's not old either he's not even fully grown.

anyone know anything?

what is the water temp? Mine did that once and awhile and I lowered it down about 4 degrees and now he is super energetic again.

its at 28 degrees C.

that might be a lil warm. If your other fish wont mind, try droppin it a few, and see if he perks up. Maybe down to 25C that is where mine is now, Mine was at 26 when he was huffin and puffin

I agree. 28 degrees is a little on the high side. It also could be poor water quality which could in turn stress the fish. If lowering the water temperature doesn't help, check your water quality and if it's also poor, do some water changes ASAP.

sorry to say that even after lowering the temperature my fish died this mornng.what a shame - just hope no more go the same way.maybe its something he ate!
