Whats Wrong With Him?

For last week or so, one of my gouramis lip has fallen off, not sure what happened, any idea what it is?

Also, this morning, I lookind in my tank and saw that he was getting beat up by my other gourami. Right now he can barely swim, I put him in a jug with an air stone in it. Any idea how to make him better?

You made your own answer to what happened to his lip. Melafix will keep it from getting infected, but it probably will not grow back.

Well, it seems to be doing better, but he still has trouble swimming. I'll see what happens tommorow. Everything is closed now so I can't go to my lfs.

Hopefully being seperated he can settle in a little bit alone.

What's in the 37g? Could he go in there and have more room and be heated?

Well, he didn't make. But he wouldn't have survived long in the 37g, it still has a lot of chlorine it (My dad didn't feel like buying declorinator).

Sorry bout that kiddo! Goes to show you even more why we do not recomend mixing gouramis in the same tank.

FYI as long as all you have is chlorine in your water...it's gone after 24 hrs.

I know, but I still smell a lot of chlorine in my tank atm.
