What's wrong with this guy's belly?

Why is his belly so fat? I dont knwo what diseas it is, help?

Maybe he has dropsy. Do the scales on that bloated area look as if they're sticking out like a pine cone? If it is dropsy, it is too late to be able to cure it (also, I don't think there is a cure).

no if i look at him from the top, he looks fine you cant see anything. But from the side his belly looks like that. No pine cone effect either. i'm stumped.

Well then..Maybe he is constipated? if he is, a cooked, shelled pea is the best way to go..other than that, I am stumped as well! Good luck!

there are two forms of dropsy: chronic and acute. acute is what most people think of, where the scales stand up because hte abdomen swells suddenly.

mrparker, it may be chronic dropsy, which is a slow swelling from cancer in internal organs.

try firebug's remedy to constipation, and see if that makes the swelling go down. have you whitnessed him passing feces? is he eating normally? how's his swimming pattern?

let's hope it's just constipation!
