the title says it all.... in my 20 gallon i had a common plec, blue gourami, 5 redtail tinfoil barbs (small), and a baby angelfish. In a desperate attempt to get rid of the grim on the walls and junk floating around everywhere ( i sorta saw that comin with all these fish), i did wat seemed to be a 90% water change. Bad move, killed my angelfish and 3 barbs. The gourami and the plec are survivors...they've been through alot. Anyways, plz dont flame me as i knew the tank was overcrowed from the start, im just really depressed right now. r.i.p fish.:(

Sorry to hear of your loss.:( Unfortunate, but a lesson to be taken seriously. Remember, we are keeping other lives in a glass world of their own. IMO they need more attention than a cat or dog as far as their environment. I have three cats and I spend more time on my tanks than I do the "Three Stooges":D Regular water changes, gravel vacs are needed ,...more so on smaller tanks. I do a weekly 20% to 30% on all my tanks. Just keep'a'going. Keep'a'eye'on the swimmers.

Man that sucks. Honestly I can't flame you. We all start out somehow. I know I did something very close to this. The important thing isn't to dwell on the loss it's to figure out how to not repeat it.
