where do red face macs come out of?

which lake?are the agressive?more so then blue mbunas,labs,red zebras?ive got a pretty mellow tank,saw a red faced mac at lfs yesterday liked it but i dont want to upset my original guys to much

I'm not sure what you mean by red faced mac....not sure i've heard of them.

I could be wrong - I know little about Africans - but I believe "Red-face Macs" are a Tropheops species from Lake Malawi.

Ah yes good find Jeff....i know what Trpheops are, i had just never heard of Red Face Macs as a common name. Good find.
